Raffia
Woven raffia is a light natural material for the city and warmer seasons. The texture is alive: slight irregularities in the weave are part of the piece’s character.
Keep raffia away from heavy moisture. If it gets wet, gently blot with a soft dry cloth and let it dry naturally away from heaters and direct sun.
Intreccio leather
Natural leather and intreccio weaving keep their grain, softness and shade. Small variations are a sign of a living material, not a defect.
Do not machine-wash or soak bags. Clean with a soft cloth and leather care products; test on a hidden area first.

Most SÓRA Italy bags are made from smooth or pebbled natural leather — not woven. The material is dense and flexible: a light patina develops over time, and small grain variations highlight the leather’s natural origin.
Wipe the surface with a soft dry cloth. When needed, use care products for smooth leather and test them on a hidden area first. Avoid moisture, heavy rubbing, prolonged sun and heat sources — they can dry the leather or change its shade.
After contact with water, gently blot the piece and let it dry at room temperature, filling the bag with soft paper to keep its shape. You can periodically renew protection with a leather water-repellent spray.
Scarves: 80% cotton, 20% silk
SÓRA scarves are made from a cotton and silk blend: cotton gives a soft, pleasant texture, while silk adds lightness and a subtle sheen.
Prefer gentle hand washing in cool water or delicate dry cleaning. Do not wring, do not dry on a heater, and store away from direct sun to keep the print vivid.
Care and storage
Before long-term storage, clean and fully dry the piece. Fill the bag with soft paper and keep it in a fabric dust bag.
Avoid plastic bags for long storage. Store detachable straps inside the bag. Leather water-repellent sprays may be used when needed.
